Unlock the Potential of Industrial AI to Advanced Manufacturing

The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) plays a crucial role in promoting industrial artificial intelligence (AI) technology, dedicated to helping enterprises thrive in the new wave of industrialization through innovative strategies and measures.

On April 16,2024, HKPC held a seminar titled “Unlock the Potential of Industrial AI to Advanced Manufacturing” aimed at exploring how to leverage AI technology to optimize business processes, enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and provide practical advice for the development of the industrial AI sector in Hong Kong.

Representatives from Wave Computing Novation Limited  were fortunate to participate in this significant event. The seminar gathered top scholars and industry experts from around the world, who shared application cases and successful experiences of industrial AI technology, providing valuable references for enterprises striving for advanced manufacturing.

Among the speakers, Professor Li, an authority in the field of industrial big data, shared his profound insights on data-driven decision-making. Mr. Schalk de Klerk, Vice President of o9 Solutions, brought his extensive experience in industrial solutions. Professor Huang, Vice Dean of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Institute at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Chair Professor of Intelligent Manufacturing in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, provided attendees with cutting-edge knowledge on smart manufacturing and system optimization.

This seminar was not only a platform for knowledge exchange but also a collision of ideas, injecting new vitality into the development of industrial AI in Hong Kong and globally. Through such initiatives, HKPC demonstrated its leadership in promoting the application of industrial AI technology and industry development, while also providing a platform for enterprises to learn and collaborate, collectively moving towards a more efficient and intelligent manufacturing future.
