Wave Computing Novation Limited has been actively involved in various cybersecurity activities in Hong Kong. Following its participation in the Hong Kong Cybersecurity Summit 2024, We was invited on December 19, 2024, to attend the Cybersecurity Symposium 2024, co-organised by the Digital Policy Office of Hong Kong SAR (DPO), the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC), and the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force (CSTCB).
At this event, Wave Computing Novation Limited witnessed the establishment of the Hong Kong Cybersecurity Professional Association, engaging in exchanges and interactions with exhibitors and relevant professionals. Discussions were held regarding the implementation of the proposed Ordinance for the Protection of Critical Infrastructure (Computer Systems) Bill, which is currently at the second reading stage in the Legislative Council.
It is anticipated that as the legislative process progresses, the overall cybersecurity landscape in Hong Kong will see significant improvements, enabling the government to better address the impact of various cybersecurity incidents.
