We Participates in the Exchange Activities Between GBX and HKSTP

Since joining GBX, Wave Computing Novation Limited has actively participated in business exchange activities organized by GBX.

On December 5, 2024, Dr. Tony Tso, Executive VP and Chief Strategy Officer at GBX, organized a delegation to Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP) for an investment and collaboration dialogue.

The Wave Computing Novation Limited team responded enthusiastically and participated fully.

The exchange was led by Ernest Ma, Head of the Acceleration Department at HKSTP, who delivered a keynote speech and facilitated the dialogue.

Ernest introduced HKSTP’s key influence and important role in driving technological innovation both regionally and globally, through the four main themes of incubation, acceleration, funding, and investment. He explained the original intent behind the establishment of HKSTP’s innovation fund, its current achievements, and the strategies used to select and nurture promising Deep Tech Startup companies, with a focus on three major technological innovation directions including GenAI.

During the session, Ernest cited examples of well-known high-tech companies, such as SenseTime Technology (00020.HK), to illustrate the effectiveness of HKSTP’s strategies.

The GBX delegation showed significant interest in Ernest’s presentation, engaging in discussions with him on key factors affecting business operations and development, such as investment services and talent discovery.

Subsequently, the GBX team held thorough and enthusiastic internal discussions within the HKSTP about the content of the event. They unanimously agreed that GBX could continue to engage and collaborate with HKSTP to jointly explore and create more business opportunities.
