We Visits the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Productivity Council as a GBX Member

After the honor of being admitted to join the GBX Global Business Exchange Association as a member, WAVE Computing Novation Limited participated in an exchange event organized by GBX with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Hong Kong Productivity Council on November 7, 2024, following the arrangements made by GBX.

This activity, organized by GBX, primarily focused on understanding the research collaboration between the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and government-supported institutions. The delegation was arranged to visit the research department at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University responsible for technology transfer to discuss cooperation matters.

At the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the GBX delegation attentively listened to a presentation by General Director Wang Jiada regarding the university’s knowledge transfer and innovation entrepreneurship development. They gained a thorough understanding of the university’s positioning and long-term strategic development goals, recognizing that the Hong Kong Polytechnic University serves as the largest interdisciplinary research platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The philosophy conveyed resonated with WAVE Computing Novation Limited’s forward-looking, sensitive, and long-term-oriented principles.

The GBX delegation paid special attention to visiting the Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Things at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where they were deeply impressed by the various cutting-edge technologies under research and implementation at the institute.
